Kline Township police arrested two people on drug related charges in connection with the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.

Scott Benjamin, 51, and Melanee Clossey-DeJesus, 46, both of Kline Township, were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers executed a search warrant on James Street in Kelayres.

Also assisting were drug task force agents, McAdoo police and state parole agents. A multitude of benzodiazepines, more than 11 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found during the search.
