Please consider voting for Guy Seifert in his run for a second term as township supervisor. In the past six years, he and the other supervisors have not raised either taxes or garbage fees. Towamensing Township is the only remaining municipality in our immediate area that is still handling recyclables. Under his first term, the supervisors have established an aggressive road repair program.
They have brought our zoning regulations in compliance with the state mandate. (Having not been done in 20 years) and continue to move forward on bridge repair within the township. He and the other supervisors have worked to establish two new athletic fields for our children to play both soccer and softball and have begun to bring the aging equipment of the township into the modern era.
As an active director of the Towamensing Township Volunteer Fire Company, he also has the privilege to serve the community with many other dedicated people in revitalizing this critical organization. He has firsthand working knowledge of business management from over 30 years of running his own local business. This keeps him current on all aspects of finance, personnel management and overall organization. He and his family have lived in Towamensing Township for many years and actively farm on one of the few preserved farms within the township.
Guy has also served his country honorably as a United States Marine.
Sincerely,
Susy L. Seifert
