Lehigh Gap Nature Center is hosting the fifth Nature in Art Show at the Osprey House from Friday through Nov. 12. Sixty-five works have been entered in the show, including a variety of media from watercolor to oil to acrylic to sculpture. All the works are from local artists and most of the art is for sale during the show.
The exhibit is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both weekends. Evening hours will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
A People’s Choice award will be given to the item that gets the most votes from the public visiting the show.
There will be an artists’ reception held from 3-5 p.m. on Nov. 12 to close the show. Anyone who purchased art can pick it up at that time, and the public is welcome to come and meet the artists and talk with them about their work.
