The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, has issued a flood advisory for Lehigh, Carbon, Monroe and Northampton counties.
The advisory is in effect until 2:30 a.m. Monday.
Up to 1 inch of rain has already fallen. Another inch or two is possible tonight.
The forecast:
Monday: Showers likely, mainly before 11am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 58. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. West wind 6 to 11 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. West wind 6 to 15 mph.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Wednesday: A slight chance of showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
