Makovec directs an 11-play, 76-yard drive in the second quarter, capping it with an 11-yard TD pass to Scott Kane to give the Colts a lead. Makovec adds another tally in the third frame when he escapes for a 28-yard scoring run. Joe Richards intercepts a pass on defense to help Marian, coached by Stan Dick (Dakosty), record its shutout.
