A woman was injured this morning in the village of Parryville. The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. as she was driving a pick-up down a steep North Fireline Road. The woman stated she lost her brakes. She veered to the left, striking a concrete culvert then passed through an intersection before entering the lawn of a home. The truck rolled before coming to rest on its side just feet from the home. Firefighters from Bowmanstown and Parryville extricated the woman from the wreckage. She was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics then transported to an area trauma center. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
