Lehighton’s 47th annual Halloween Parade drew huge crowds to the streets on Saturday evening, with participants delivering plenty of entertaining floats, creative costumes, and of course, candy for the kids.

“The parade was a great success,” Julie Harris, chairman of the Lehighton Area Halloween Parade Committee, said. “We couldn’t have asked for better weather. I haven’t seen the streets lined with so many people in years. Parade viewers were watching from porches, yards and along the streets we line-up on to the very end of the route. “

While just about every float and participating group was a winner in their own right, the judges selected the following champions in each category.
