A town hall meeting and candidate forum on the current opioid crisis will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 1 at North Schuylkill High School in Ashland.

Guest speakers will be Jason Snyder from the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Dr. Ernest Sully from St. Luke’s Miners Campus.

The town hall will be followed by a candidate forum featuring Schuylkill County District Attorney Christine Holman and attorney Mike O’Pake, who is challenging her for the D.A.’s position in the November election.

The high school is located at 15 Academy Lane, Ashland.

The public is welcome to attend.
