A Carbon County woman admitted hitting her brother with a frying pan in a dispute.
The plea was entered on Tuesday in Carbon County court before Judge Joseph J. Matika.
Alyssa Ann Bernardi, 26, of Lansford, pleaded guilty to one count of simple assault for an incident on Jan. 26 at a West Bertsch Street address.
Lansford police responded to the residence for a reported assault. On scene officers were told that Bernardi hit her brother, Scott Hoschslater, with a frying pan on the head. He did not require immediate medical attention.
Bernardi said she was arguing with him over problems she was having.
Matika placed her on probation for a year and ordered her to get both mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations and follow any recommendations for treatment and render 50 hours of community service.
