A tractor-trailer rig crashed on Thursday in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Fredette Martin, 50, of Weedon, Quebec, Canada, was driving a 2017 Kenworth tractor with trailer northbound on Route 61 in Cass Township about 1:16 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the road. The rig rolled over onto its passenger side coming to rest on top of the guard rail along the east berm.

Martin was not injured. He was cited for careless driving.

Assisting troopers were volunteers from the Saint Clair Fire Department.
