When deciding who to support in the approaching election for district judge, I would urge my fellow voters in the West End to consider the qualities and attributes needed to make a good judge.

Fairness, being unbiased, nonselective application of the law, honesty, attention to details, having an even temper, setting aside personal friendships, alliances and/or grudges, or dislikes, and an excellent knowledge of the law.

Then, with these needed qualities in mind, ask around, talk with people who have been exposed to the justice system in the West End, and then choose who you will support. I have done this, and I will be voting for Judge Colleen Mancuso.
