Griffiths gives his team the lead in the second quarter when he scores on a 33-yard TD run. In the third frame, he extends the Tigers margin by breaking loose on an 80-yard scoring tally. The winners, coached by Bob Mitchell, also receive a 2-yard TD run from John Galdieri, and a 54-yard touchdown toss from Galdieri to Larry Caamano.
