HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania’s 14 state-owned universities and their faculty union say they’ve reached a tentative agreement on a new contract that will run through June 2019.
The State System of Higher Education and the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties issued a joint statement on Tuesday that announced the deal but didn’t disclose any details.
The current contract expires next June.
The school and the union say they’ll announce publicly what’s in the agreement once the board of governors approves it and the union membership ratifies it.
