Jim Thorpe split two games this past weekend to finish out the regular season with a 12-5 record.
Thorpe enters the Connie Mack playoffs as the No. 2 seed, playing the winner of the Lower Macungie-Northampton matchup in the quarterfinals Saturday at 1 p.m. at Recreational Park on Route 903.
The semifinals and finals will be played on Sunday.

Jim Thorpe’s Justin Marykwas and AJ Pompa combined to strike out 12 in six innings of work, but three unearned runs made the difference in a 3-0 Moore Township victory.
Marykwas tripled for Thorpe, while Derek Pavlik, Jared Marykwas and Garrett Leinhard added hits.

Noah Snisky had two hits, two RBIs and scored two runs to help Jim Thorpe gain a 9-1 victory over Lower Macungie.
Jake Taras was the winning pitcher, while Josh Robin added a pair of runs scored.
