The Tamaqua High School Class of 1960 cleared out its reunion fund by donating to the Tamaqua Public Library. The class began making donations to the library in honor of deceased class members in 1950. For the last 11 years, classmates have met annually for a picnic, but have now decided to have more informal gatherings, such as a breakfast or lunch in the future. Officers, Class reunion committee officers Paul Miller, Beverly Conahan and Charles Odorizzi presented a check to the library in the amount of $2,042.84.
