The 3rd annual Supurban 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run and Walk , sponsored by the Thelma Urban Memorial Fund, was established in 2015 in memory of the late Tamaqua Area High School English/Language Arts teacher Thelma R. (Glatz) Urban, who died unexpectedly at the age of 40 on June 22, 2015.
