A vehicle stop in Lehigh County led to the finding of several firearms.

State police at Fogelsville said a red Honda Accord with Texas registration was stopped on Sept. 3 along Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township for several motor vehicle code violations.

At the stop, the operator, Felix Marquis Colon, 28, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and his passenger, Corey Ricardo Colon, 27, same address, displayed numerous indicators of criminal activity. A consent search of the vehicle was granted.

Found was an AR-15 rifle containing an inserted magazine with rounds of ammunition; a Glock 21 pistol with an inserted magazine containing rounds of ammunition; and a Glock 22 pistol, also containing an inserted magazine with rounds of ammunition. Numerous high capacity magazines were also located inside the vehicle and contained ammunition.

Neither man possessed a valid concealed carry permit in any state. Both were placed under arrest and charged with firearms not to be carried without a license.
