Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced the upcoming road and bridge work in the region this week.

Carbon County

• Jim Thorpe: Broadway Avenue between Route 209 and Center Avenue, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

• Kidder Township: Interstate 80 between Monroe County line and Exit 277 at the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

• Palmerton and Lower Towamensing Township: Little Gap Road between Forest Inn Road and Lower Smith Gap Road, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Penn Forest Township: Route 534 between Route 903 and Monroe County line, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Lehigh County

• Interstate 78 between Exit 49 at Route 100 and the Northampton County line, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, lane restriction both directions.

• Interstate 78 between Exit 51 at Route 22 and Exit 57 at Lehigh Street, 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, eastbound lane restriction.

• Whitehall Township: Route 22 between Route 145 and Fullerton Avenue, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, work is related to the ongoing U.S. 22/Fullerton Avenue Interchange Reconstruction Project.

• Interstate 78 between Exit 49 at Route 100 and Exit 51 at Route 22, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Oct. 14, lane restriction westbound for construction work related to the ongoing Interstate 78 Auxiliary Lane Project.

Monroe County

• Delaware Water Gap: Interstate 80 between Exit 309 at Route 209 and the New Jersey line, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, lane restriction eastbound.

• Delaware Water Gap: Interstate 80 between New Jersey line and Exit 309 at Route 209, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, lane restriction westbound.

• Coolbaugh Township: Interstate 80 between Exit 299 at Route 715 and Exit 302 at Route 33, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, lane restriction eastbound.

• Hamilton Township: Route 33 between Snydersville and Bartonsville, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, lane restriction northbound.

Northampton County

• Interstate 78 between Lehigh County line and Exit 67 at Route 412, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, lane restriction in both directions for highway lighting work.

• Lehigh Township: Blue Mountain Drive between Riverview Drive and Willow Road, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Schuylkill County

• Tamaqua: Route 309 at Route 209, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• East Brunswick Township: Route 895/Route 443, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Wayne Township: Panther Valley Road between Cressona and Friedensburg, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

• Cass Township: Valley Road between Minersville and Buck Run, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
