Katie Dunnick, of La Center, Washington, and Dan Thomas, of Lake Hauto, were united in marriage on May 28, 2017, at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Erica Taylor officiate the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Pam and Bob Dunnick of La Center. She chose Jennie Dunnick to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Hartman, Kim Alonge, Nicole Dunn and Sam Capita.

The bridegroom is the son of Gar and Kim Thomas of Lake Hauto. He chose Shawn Klitsch to serve as best man. Ushers included Blake Moses, Greg Newman, Jimmy Dunn and Mike Capita.

A reception at the Carolina Inn followed the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia.

The bride is a graduate of La Center High School, Lebanon Valley College and West Virginia University. She is employed by ScitoVation LCC.

Her husband is a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Lebanon Valley College and West Virginia University. He is employed by Health Fitness.

The newlyweds live in Raleigh, North Carolina.
