A Coaldale man will serve 90 days to five years in prison and pay $5,419 in fines, costs and fees for driving under the influence and related charges.
Robert A. Bachert, 67, begins his sentence Oct. 11, Schuylkill County Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin ruled.
Bachert was charged by Tamaqua police with driving under the influence, first offense; driving under the influence, highest rate of blood alcohol content; driving without headlights; failing to stop for a red light; failure to yield to an emergency vehicle; disregarding traffic lanes; and driving without a license on Jan. 27, 2016.

The charges of driving under the influence, first offense; failure to yield to an emergency vehicle; disregarding traffic lanes; and driving without a license were dropped in the plea negotiations.
Dolbin sentenced Bachert to 90 days to five years in prison on the DUI charge, with 90 days served on electronic monitoring.
Bachert was fined $1,500, and had his license suspended for 18 months. He also was ordered to complete Alcohol Highway Safety School, enroll in outpatient treatment, and perform 20 hours of community service.
On the lighting and red light charges, Dolbin fined him $25 for each offense.
Bachert was also ordered to pay court costs and fees.
The fines, costs and fees total $5,419.
