Jim Thorpe (11-4) posted wins in two out of three games in Connie Mack fall baseball action over the weekend.

Jim Thorpe and Northern Valley split a doubleheader on Saturday, with Northern Valley taking the first game and Thorpe winning the second.

Justin Marykwas had two hits and two RBIs in the opener for Thorpe, which lost 11-8. JT also received a triple from Noah Snisky and a double from Evan Dart.

In the second game, a 10-8 JT victory, Jake Taras led the way with a single, double, and two RBIs. Josh Robin and Michael Daugherty each contributed a pair of hits. Snisky earned the win in relief, striking out three in two innings of work.

A five-run sixth inning allowed Jim Thorpe to rally for an 8-6 victory over Lower Macungie.

Jake Taras had a double and triple, and knocked in three runs for the winners. Justin Mahmde and Justin Marykwas added RBI triples, while Derek Pavlik chipped in a pair of hits.

AJ Pompa earned the pitching win.
