The Sherman Theater gets the rhythm going with the first event in its new Kids’ Series at 2 p.m. Friday at Head Start Pocono Services for Families and Children Mountain Center Building, 354 Memorial Blvd., Tobyhanna.
This six-part series will feature singer/songwriters and storytellers from across the country offering family-friendly entertainment.
All future events will take place at the Sherman Showcase, 522 Main St., Stroudsburg.
This first performance features musician Skip Denenberg, a singer and songwriter who has written songs for The Philadelphia Phillies, The Discovery Channel and Sesame Street.
He has shared the stage with such artists as Willie Nelson, Warren Zevon, the Neville Brothers and many others.
As part of the Fine Arts Discovery Series of the Sherman Theater, this show is open to the public at no charge, however donations will be accepted.
The Kids’ Series was developed to provide an opportunity for children in the northeastern Pennsylvania community to enjoy arts and culture.
Sponsors are needed for upcoming shows in the Kids’ Series.
