The Hometown Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 will host an open house night out at the fire station, 45 Mahanoy Ave., Hometown, from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Volunteer firefighters will open the fire station doors for activities involving fire prevention and give the public an opportunity to view the state-of-the-art apparatus and equipment that provides fire protection in the area.
