Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Klotz Sr. of Lehighton are celebrating their 54th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Sept. 28, 1963, by the late Rev. Engle.

Mrs. Klotz is the former Mary Ann Labenburg, daughter of the late Gordon Angstead and the late Ellen Angstead. Her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Klotz Sr.

Before retiring, Mr. Klotz was self-employed at B&B Automotive in Lehighton. Mrs. Klotz is employed by the Times News.

The couple has three children: Robert Jr.; Melissa, wife of Scott Fairchild; and Timothy, husband of Tina.

They have 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
