September 29, 1972 - Rick Jones scores a pair of touchdowns to help Tamaqua gain a 21-0 victory over Hazleton. Jones, who carries 10 times for 117 yards, opens the scoring and gains most of his yards with an 87-yard TD run in the second quarter. Later in the frame, he also catches an 11-yard scoring strike from Milot. The Blue Raiders seal their win in the final period when Milot hits Paul James with a 52-yard TD pass.
