Kurt Aikenberg, center, was credited with the fastest time for the September 2017 edition of the Weatherly Hill Climb. Now in its 56th year, the twice-a-year event attracts racers from across the country to try their luck on the milelong uphill race. Aikenberg’s time was 50.823 seconds. The next closest competitor was Bryan Fritzler with a time of 51.796, with Ray Kochin coming in third at 52.350 seconds.
