The Tamaqua Area Water Authority has finished installing new meters to its Hometown customers and now turns the attention to customers living within the borough of Tamaqua.
Water authority personnel began replacing meters on Monday on Arlington Street. They will continue going street by street, alphabetically, until all 2,000 meters have been replaced.
Workers will have photo IDs.
If a resident is not at home at the time workers visit, they will have the opportunity to schedule the work to be done at their convenience.
