The new Bishop of the Diocese of Allentown the Most Rev. Alfred A. Schlert celebrated the Carbon Deanery Mass at St. Joseph Church in Jim Thorpe on Monday evening. After the Mass, parishioners and well-wishers had the opportunity to personally great Bishop Schlert and enjoy some light refreshments in the nearby Saint Joseph Regional Academy cafeteria.
