State police at Lehighton said a minor crash at 10 a.m. Aug. 20 at the intersection of Kuhenbeaker Road and Route 115 in Tunkhannock Township resulted in a 57-year-old man from Conyngham being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police said after they responded to the crash, they detected a very strong odor of alcohol emanating from the suspect's breath.Police administered several field sobriety tests, then placed him under arrest.
