Tamaqua Police released information on two recent incidents.

Victor E. Miles III, 37, of Westville, New Jersey, faces charges in connection with a three-vehicle crash on Sept. 1. Miles was traveling south on Cedar Street at 11:20 a.m. when he bent down to pick something up from the passenger side floor. When he looked up, the sun was in his eyes, blinding him to the cars in front of him that were stopped for a red light. Miles will be cited for driving with a suspended license and for failing to drive at a safe speed.Elsie Donella, 31, of Washington Street, Tamaqua, faces charges after she assaulted another woman on Sept. 5. The fight took place on Lafayette Street and was reported at 9:30 a.m. The victim was treated at a hospital for lacerations, contusions and a fractured shoulder.
