SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - Three teenagers accused of having caused the death of a Pennsylvania police officer during a chase two years ago have been sentenced to nine to 18 years in prison.

Tanner Curtis, Isiah Edwards and Nasiir Jones were sentenced Thursday after agreeing to plead guilty to third-degree murder and robbery. The 19-year-olds were scheduled for trial later this month.Authorities said Scranton police patrolman John Wilding died after falling from a 15-foot retaining wall while chasing the then-17-year-olds after a July 2015 armed robbery.Wilding's sister told The (Scranton) Times-Tribune the family was satisfied with the deal.The teens will get credit for two years already served and will be on probation for seven years after their prison terms.
