A burglary that happened on Aug. 29on Pohopoco Drive North in Polk Township, is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.
Police said a man believed to be between 20-30 years of age, having a full reddish-colored beard and wearing an orange hat with a camo jacket and pants, removed a chain saw and power washer from the garage of the victim, a 44-year-old Kunkletown woman, and placed them in the woods behind the residence.Police said the suspect returned to the house and started to look in the windows of the residence, but was seen by the victim and fled the scene, entering the woods toward Whitey B Road. Police said the chain saw and power washer were located in the woods.
