The feature room of the Palmerton Heritage Center, 410 Delaware Ave., Palmerton is now showing Palmerton Stores of 50 Years Ago. The center is open various hours, Wednesday through Saturday each week. Phone 610-824-6954 for a recording listing the hours each day; or simply try the door. If it is unlocked, someone is there who can show you around. Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted.Bake sale/basket raffleA bake sale and basket raffle will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Palmerton Ambulance Building, 501 Delaware Ave. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Each ticket has 25 chances. All proceeds go to the Palmer House/The Old Timers Bingo Association. This is an all ages event.If you want to bake, donate or help out call Stacy at 610-349-3688.
