Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a man with dementia and mental health issues who left Weatherwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday.

Weatherly Police said that Jeryl McDonnell, 69, was last seen in the Lehighton area.

McDonnell is a white male with a long gray bushy beard. He is 5-feet-10 and approximately 197 lbs.

He left Weatherwood Tuesday and took a taxi to an unknown location, however police believe he may still be in the Lehighton area.

According to the area Agency on Aging, he has a long list of medical conditions including psychosis and dementia. He also has diabetes, COPD and coronary disease.

He may be aggressive, according to police.

Anyone who sees McDonnell is asked to call 911 and report where he was seen.
