Children at St. Joseph's Parish of the Panther Valley received a special blessing this weekend to start the school year off right. Students brought their backpacks to Mass and were given a religious pin, which was pinned to the bags. The Rev. Allen Hoffa also sprinkled the backpacks and children with Holy water.
