The end of summer means the annual Weatherly Community Festival.

Each year, local organizations come up with their own unique menu items to create a varied menu for the event.There are also bounce houses for kids.The festival will take place at Eurana Park. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Friday, and 1-9 p.m. Saturday.There are more than a dozen local organizations cooking up various items to raise money.Vendors include the Weatherly Firehouse Auxiliary, who will have a beef & brew stand set up in the hockey rink. They will be serving beef and pulled pork, beer, wine coolers and fire company mugs.Weatherly High School Class of 2018 will be selling root beer floats.The Weatherly Area Music Parents will sell walking tacos and beverages.The Weatherly Alumni band is slated to perform.For more information, visit Weatherly Festival on Facebook, or call 570-401-9091.
