State police at Frackville said a criminal incident report has been proved to be unfounded.

Troopers said on Sunday, around 4:50 p.m., they received a report of a possible criminal incident that had occurred at the border of West Mahanoy and Union townships, about a half-mile west of the village of Raven Run in Schuylkill County.An investigation revealed no crime had occurred. Part of the initial report was that there was a large amount of blood in the area. Troopers said testing determined the substance was not blood.
