Kristopher Lyden of Jim Thorpe has been arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks on a charge of simple assault following an incident at 9 a.m. Aug. 12 ata White Oak Drive residence in Penn Forest Township.

Police said the victim is a 36-year-old woman from Jim Thorpe who was physically assaulted by Lyden.
