Sophie M. Wynne, 18, of Kunkletown, sustained suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 2 a.m. Aug. 18 on Frable Road in Eldred Township, according to state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said she was driving a 2006 Mazda eastbound about one-half mile west of Weir Mountain Road when the vehicle left the north side of the road and struck an embankment. It continued east on the grass on the northern side of the road for about 40 feet before striking a group of small trees and coming to rest facing east.Police said there were no drugs/alcohol suspected in the incident.The driver was cited for a section of the Motor Vehicle Code requiring duty to give information and render aid.
