A Monroe County man was jailed following an incident on Aug. 5.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 1:03 a.m. officers responded toa Towanda Trail residence in the Arrowhead Lakes development for a report of a man who had forced his way into the residence. While en route, officers were told the female resident managed to leave the residence and was at the security office.Officers spoke with the woman who said a man was intoxicated and kicked in the door. She also said he ripped off a pipe from the outside of the residence and threatened to kill her. He also stole the victim's phone while she was calling 911.Police went to the residence and found James Reilly, 40, of 71 Minisink Drive, Pocono Lake, inside. He was taken into custody and arraigned on charges of criminal trespass, terroristic threats, theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was jailed after being unable to post $3,000 bail.
