LONG POND -ÃÂ The drought is over.
Kyle Busch led a race-high 74 laps and claimed the 44th Annual Overton's 400 Sunday at Pocono Raceway for his first victory in 2017. Busch, who started from the pole and won Stage 1, also collected his first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victory at Pocono.
Busch made contact with Kevin Harvick off of Turn 3, and completed the pass heading into Turn 1 with 17 laps to go and never looked back. Harvick finished second, 6.178 seconds behind Busch.
Series points leader Martin Truex Jr. finished third.
Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski rounded out the top-five.
Stage 2 winner Clint Bowyer finished sixth.
In his final Cup Series start at Pocono, Dale Earnhardt Jr. recorded a 12th place finish.
Busch's victory was the 100th Monster Energy Cup Series win for Toyota.
