Bates pitches four innings, allowing just one run and one hit while striking out eight. He also helps his own cause with a two-run double, a walk, and a run scored. Anthony DeAngelo collects two hits, a run and an RBI, while Mike Brennan adds a two-run single and scores two times. Tamaqua, coached by Joe Brennan, also receives a two-run double from Mark Angst and a pair of runs from Mark Mehalko and Alex Kramer.
