A woman was injured Saturday afternoon in a crash along Summer Mountain Road in East Penn Township. The crash occurred just after 3 p.m. as the vehicle was traveling south and failed to negotiate a curve. The car entered the right berm, striking a tree before rolling onto its roof. The car slid for a distance before coming to rest in the northbound lane. The victim was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transferred to an area hospital.
