Abbigale Agosti, of Tamaqua, participated in a weeklong educational course in business leadership at Susquehanna University's Sigmund Weis School of Business from June 25 to July 1.

Agosti joined a small team of students who created and managed companies in a competitive environment. Teams made choices about company policy, marketing, product development, market research, pricing and production. The week culminated in team presentations describing the dynamics of each company's management process and assessment of each company's performance.Faculty from Susquehanna's Sigmund Weis School of Business, business professionals and entrepreneurs served as guest speakers and advisers. The program was open to students on a competitive basis entering grades 10 through 12. Students were selected based on recommendations, academic skills, leadership qualities and future career aspirations.Agosti is a student at Tamaqua Area Senior High School and will be a senior this fall. She is the daughter of Jim and Traci Agosti of Tamaqua.
