A male stole various brands of cigarettes worth around $1,000 on Tuesday from the 3 Kids Market and Eatery in Jim Thorpe, police said.

The burglary occurred around 11 p.m. in the 200-block of Center Avenue.Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.Anyone with information is asked to call 570-325-4995.The state police Forensics Services Unit assisted with the investigation.
