The 9th grade LVBS team won the AFBE tournament at Kutztown University recently. The team went 4-0 to win the 9th grade division and championship. This season they competed in nine tournaments, which started in March with the March Madness Tournament in King of Prussia, and ended in June with the Beach Blast Tournament in Wildwood, NJ. The team is comprised of kids from schools in the Lehigh Valley, including Northwestern and Palmerton. Members of the team include, front row from left, Isaiah Tyler, Sean McCann, Nate Reimer, Zac Gula; back row, Derek Hebelka, Jack O'Donnell, Justin Hosier, Richard Kerrick, and Joe Lisicky. Other members of the team, coached by Dave McCann, were Devin Bollinger, Jared Kucharczuk and Chris Lessel.
