Police investigate Schuylkill County incidents

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the following incidents.

• Helping to Inspire Positive Health group, of Pottsville, reported its unlocked 2002 Ford Explorer was entered while parked in a driveway in the Chestnut Hill Development, 202 Fox Hollow, in North Manheim Township. Removed from the vehicle was an HP Galaxy tablet, medication and a small wallet containing about $40 in U.S. currency. The incident occurred sometime between 8 p.m. June 20 and 6:30 a.m. on June 21.• State police said Beth Ann Paxton, of Cressona, entered the Giant Market in the Cressona Mall, North Manheim Township, around 10:15 a.m. on July 19 and was soon stopped by store personnel as she tried to exit the store with items she did not pay for. Charges were filed.State police at Frackville are investigating the following burglary.• Troopers saida 43-year-old Gilberton manreported someone entered a garage to the rear of his residence on Main Street and removed various power tools and related equipment. The entry occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Monday.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
