Coaldale Borough officials decided they would like a different playground set than the one they voted on last month.

Borough council on Tuesday amended a vote from their April meeting. They voted to buy the Free Style VI model playground from playgrounddepot.com.The total cost is $17,475, and will save the borough about $1,400 over the other model they were considering.Council president Angela Krapf said that the Free Style has more climbing elements than the model they had been considering."It offers a little bit more, minus the fact that it doesn't have a slide, which is something we could always add," Krapf said.Council approved the purchase, as well as paying a representative from playgrounddepot.com about $1,500 to help with the installation of the new equipment.
