A biker was injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash along Route 248 in Lower Towamensing Township. The crash occurred at 5:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes at the Palmerton interchange. The bike came to rest in the eastbound passing lane against the concrete Jersey barrier. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to an area trauma center.
