Charges are pending against a Beaver Meadows woman after she lost control of her vehicle and crashed on Route 93 in Nesquehoning early Monday morning. Emily Marie Anderson of Broad Street, was traveling southbound just before 7 a.m. at a high rate of speed when she lost control, crossing over into the northbound lane before striking a guiderail head-on. She was evaluated by Nesquehoning ambulance but was not injured. Nesquehoning police said charges are pending for the crash, as well as for expired registration and speeding.
